CTG are pleased to announce our winter event dates. We have packed the winter diary with four Arena TREC competitions, two ridden training sessions and a judges training so we hope to see lots of our members out in their winter woollies!
Please see the Calendar page on this website for more details.
The Central TREC Group committee have had a frank and honest discussion of the challenges that have been faced during the organisation of the TREC event that we ran at Oakham in July 2019. We recognise that there were failures in the organisation of the event that caused significant frustration to our competitors and our judges.
We would like to sincerely apologise to all involved in the competition and can confirm that we have put plans in progress to ensure that future CTG competitions run more smoothly.
The schedule is now available via our Calendar page and entries are open for our split venue competition in August/September at Alconbury/Tur Langton.
We’ve tried to make the schedule as straight forward as possible but if you do have any questions such as to how to enter or which combination of classes can be completed then please get in touch with Sarah via email@example.com
The results from the competition at Park Farm over Bank Holiday weekend are now available on our Results page.
Many thanks to all our valiant helpers, who we were pleased to find needed sun cream more than waterproofs on the day! We couldn’t have done it without you, so huge thanks to you all.
The Mini Beast could not stop the fun at Willicote over the weekend as competitors and judges braved the conditions to participate in our third Arena TREC of the 2017/18 winter season. Defrosting was aided by soup and a heated shed, great preparation for the approaching outdoor TREC season! Results are now available on the results page or via this link.
Given the heavy snowfall, poor driving conditions and icy parking at the venue we have made the decision to postpone the training at Willicote that was scheduled for Saturday 3rd March as we feel it will be unsafe for horses, riders and trainers.
We will look to find a new date and those already booked on will be able to either transfer their entry to the new date or get a refund – Trish will be in touch shortly.
Sorry to disappoint you if you were planning to join us, but hopefully we can find a date in April/May to rearrange to.
Central TREC Group went flippin’ crazy at the weekend, practicing our pancake tossing ahead of Shrove Tuesday. Competitors joined us at Low Farm for a great day, the wind was rather bracing, but the rain mostly held off. Well done to all competitors. Results are here or on the Results page.
