Central Trec Group have various awards and prizes for members. These include the ‘Milestone Awards’ and a Summer League that members can participate in – scroll down to find out more details.

Milestones Awards
Central TREC Group runs a rewards scheme to recognise participation in TREC competitions. All members are able to request Milestones awards for themselves and/or their horse(s) based on the distance covered in the competitions that they complete. (Please note colours vary from the image shown, which was a sample).
Awards are available for the following distances:
50km (white)
100km (purple)
150km (pink)
250km (green)
500km (yellow)
750km (blue)
1,000km (red)
All affiliated TREC GB competitions can be counted towards Milestones Awards, no matter where in the country they are run (from Urswick 2014 onwards). Members can count any competitions completed while they are full riding Central members (not day or supporter members).
Distance is cumulative and can be carried over from one season to another, but each member can only request one free Milestone in each membership year. Further Milestones can be purchased at cost price (£7.50), as long as sufficient distance has been completed for them to be awarded. Distance will be counted on a standard basis, 10km for a level 1, 20km for level 2, 30km for level 3 and 40km for level 4.
Awards can be requested based on rider completions or for horses belonging to Central members, whether they were ridden by a Central member in that competition or not. Requests for horse awards should if possible be accompanied by a set of results showing the horse’s name.
Members wishing to request a Milestone award should complete the attached form and send it to helen.martin@trecgroup.co.uk or Helen Martin, Beech House, 10 Hardwick Drive, Shangton, Leicester, LE8 0PS. Forms must be accompanied by copies of the overall results or individual results sheet for each event being nominated for the award. Awards will then be verified and presentations will be made at Central TREC Group event prizegiving ceremonies and social events (eg the AGM or League awards evenings).
Summer League
Central TREC Group offer a Summer League to their members this year, which will reward members for placings achieved at any level as an individual or part of a pair.
Placings from all affiliated TREC GB competitions will count, but not placings at any TREC variation competitions (Versatile TREC Horse, Score TREC, etc). All affiliated TREC GB competitions run in 2022 will count for the 2022 league.
Two leagues will be run:
Level 1 and 2 (individuals and pairs)
Level 2a, 3 and 4 (individuals and pairs)
Points: 1st = 10, 2nd = 9, etc for all levels.
Pairs points are accrued by each individual rider (eg if Jackie and Sue are both CTG members who ride as a pair and come second, they each get 9 points. If Jackie then rides with Jane at another competition and they are third then Jackie will have a total of 17 points, Sue 9 and Jane 8).
The best 3 placings will be totalled and the highest points total wins. In the event of equality, the MA + PTV scores will be totalled for the competitions being counted and the highest total will win.
Placings from any competition run after the rider joined CTG will count. At the end of the season the TREC GB league tables will be used to collect all the results gained by Central members and calculate the standings.
